The Cambridge Center is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization whose mission is to advance the scientific study of behavior and its humane application to the solution of practical problems, including the prevention and relief of human suffering. The Cambridge Center was founded by Dr. Robert Epstein in 1981.
Beginning in 2015, HABA and CCBS entered into a partnership, originally facilitated by Drs. Amanda N Kelly (HABA President) and Rob Holdsambeck (Executive Director, CCBS). This partnership has enabled HABA to attract world-renowned speakers and has afforded CCBS the rights to the recordings of presentations. HABA agrees to allow CCBS (or their partner UWF) to film the conference presentations when individual speakers consent to filming. The contents of the filming and any subsequent use of those films remain the property of CCBS and are made available to the community for a low cost (of $12 per CE). This is truly an example of a symbiotic relationship, which benefits both parties and members from both organizations.
